Curtis' 30th Birthday Party!!!!

Curtis turned 30 this past week (the 12th) and for his party we had a Murder Mystery Dinner! It started out as a surprise, but by the time the party came around he knew about most of it! We still had a blast! We invited friends from church and friends that Curtis goes to school with. Everyon dressed up as their characters and really played their parts - it was awesome!
The storyline was about a father (Ed Dockafellar) who passed away and had left an inheritence for each of his 5 children (3 sons & 2 daughters) if only they would follow 3 rules - 1. They had to be married before midnight (of the party) 2. they had to have contributed something great to the world and 3. they had to move to the country before midnight (of the party). So, the night they were all to gather together one of the brothers is murdered. There are 8 suspects - the 4 remaining children and their spouses or fiances. The remaining characters - friends & family of the suspects were given clues to try to determine who the killer was.

Here are the friends/family and others (lawyer, forensic expert, & reporter) that were given clues to solve the mystery!
Curtis & I dressed in our "costumes" I was a forensic expert and Curtis was one of the suspects! Tim & Tammy Osborne dressed as Aunt Phillipa and Uncle Albert Dockafellar! Tammy won the prize for best female costume!

Our suspects!!!
Curtis as "Magnus Dockafellar" and Lyndsey as his wife "Pebbles" (she loves to tell rock jokes!)
Dan as Charles Concerto and Melaura as his wife Cynthia Dockafellar (an agoraphobic)
Gens as Tommy Whip (a jockey) and Nicci as his wife Serina Dockafellar(a bellydancer). Gens won best male costume!
Tim as Duncan Dockafellar (a boxer) and Steph as Polly Darton (a famous singer). Duncan turned out to be our murderer - although no one solved the mystery!!!
And our group shot! What a fun and crazy bunch of people!

Our Baby ????????

No, you can't tell from the picture! :) So, you'll have to look a little harder for the answer!

We're having a BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fun with "Nena & Kis"

We were so excited about our company last week - Deanna (Nena) and Chris (Kis). They got to stay for almost a week. While they were here we got to go to an arena football game - we had lots of fun and Aubrey loved cheering and boogying to the music!

Aubrey and Uncle "Kis" made buddies quickly - he put her to bed most nights - she wouldn't let Curtis or me near her at bedtime!

Aubrey got a new dress from Deanna & Chris - it's so cute - she loved having her picture taken in it.

Uncle Chris taught Aubrey how to eat spaghetti the "RIGHT WAY!"

Aunt Deanna dressed Aubrey up in this cute outfit for one of our playdates - it makes her look like such a big girl!

Last day of playing in snow???

Aubrey and Daddy play in the snow one last time (we hope, anyway)! As you can see it was up to Aubrey's waist - so she had a hard time walking in it!
But she and Daddy made snow angels and rolled around in it!

They also had fun crawling around in it!

Curtis found his new favorite place to lounge! If only the PlayStation could reach!

Aubrey loves her new shoes

I am a member and officer of a club associated with LECOM called Student Auxiliary Support Network, it is also known as the spouses club or the "widows" club (since we never see our husbands!) Anyway, we did a fundraiser this semester for the local children's hospital. We sold Crocs (they are shoes that lots of people wear, especially Drs and healthcare professionals who are on their feet all day.) Since it was a fundraiser, Aubrey got a pair to. And she loves wearing them. They are a little big right now, so she wears them with her footed pjs, but they will be just the right size once summer finally gets here!
