November

Curtis and I ran the "Turkey Trot" on Thanksgiving morning - a 5k race down at the Peninsula in Erie. It was a cold, rainy morning - but it was a great feeling to cross the finish line and say we did it!

We were able to spend Thanksgiving with friends this year - our LECOM family. The boys - Aidan and Rylan weren't quite sure why they didn't have any food yet! While the girls - Madison and Aubrey had lots of food!
After dinner we had pies with homemade whipped cream - well the adults did - the girls decided they liked the whipped cream just the way it was and enjoyed several beaters full!

Aubrey likes playing dress-up with my shoes - she can walk pretty well in them to - better than I do sometimes!
Aubrey spent a day playing with her friends at an indoor dino jump here in Erie - it was lots of fun even for the bigger kids (the adults) - we're gonna make a night of it in a month or so!

Rylan enjoyed taking a nap - watching all those kids run around is tiring!

The kids are ready for Christmas, we put up the tree, went and saw Santa and even had their pictures taken.

Aubrey and I went to the Festival of Trees - she loved seeing all the different trees and listening to a lady sing - she clapped for her after every song.
This was our favorite tree - made up like a snowman.

Curious George came to the mall - so of course we had to go see him!

October

October was a very busy month for us and here are some pictures to show you what we did. The kids had 7 different Halloween events over a 2 week period - we definitely got our money's worth out of the costumes this year! Aubrey went as Jo Jo the Cicus Clown and Rylan was Squirt from Finding Nemo. We had lots of fun at all the different parties and trick or treating events as you can tell from some of the pictures.
Here is Aubrey with her friend Madison on Halloween night - Madison was Nemo and they decided to be silly and trade hats!
Rylan started eating cereal at 3 1/2 months - he was spitting up a lot and the dr thought it would help him keep the formula down better. He loved it and ate lots of it.

We decided to have a family day and go to a Corn Maze in the shape of Spongebob and his friends. We got to go all around the corn field searching for puzzle pieces to make one big picture. It was lots of fun and Aubrey really enjoyed being able to help find the pieces!

Aubrey got to go to a Wiggles concert with her daddy - she had a blast and got to bring home Dorothy the Dinosaur.

Aubrey and I got to spend a day with our friends at a local pumpkin farm. We went on a hay ride and Aubrey got to pick out her very own pumpkin to bring home. They also had lots of fun things to do - a huge corn box for the kids to play in, small corn mazes, hay maze, petting zoo, and huge slides that even the adults got to enjoy!
