Family Zoo Trip

This past Friday Curtis had the day off, so we decided to take the kids to the zoo together, it's been a while since we've gone as a family and Aubrey was very excited to "show" daddy all the animals!

They had a face painting area and Aubrey wanted a giraffe, so we decided it should go on her arm instead. She picked the colors and everything, purple with brown spots!

The Beach

We are so truly blessed to be living where we are in the summer time. Erie is right on Lake Erie and there is a peninsula called Presque Isle that is just lined with beaches - I believe there are 12 in all. Last week was the first time we've been able to get out there all summer and I had forgotten just how much fun it is and how relaxing it can be, even with kids! Our goal is to get out there once a week until summer is over - although this week is looking like a maybe already! Anyway, here are some pictures of our first trip to the beach this summer.
