Those of you that don't know, Curtis is a HUGE Penn State fan and has been since he was a little boy. Yes, he grew up in Mississipp, but he fell in love with Penn State football. We never would have thought we would end up living in Pennsylvania for a few years, but here we are! And since we don't know if our stay here will be extended for a few more, we decided to take the opportunity to go to a PSU game while we were so close! It was still about a 4 hour trip, but well worth the drive! We had LOTS of fun, even though it was rainy and chilly most of the game. It was an amazing experience, the crowd was awesome, the student section very entertaining - they kept the wave going for 6 full times around the stadium and the game was a pretty good one to!
The scoreboard before the game started.
Some of the players warming up.

Us in the stands trying to stay warm and dry - our feet were pretty wet when we got to the car, but other than that, it wasn't so bad!

The final score 34-7 (PSU)
And on our way out of State College we saw a full double rainbow - it was truly a beautiful sight and an end to a wonderful day!

A couple of weeks ago, Aidan and Rylan decided to help me clean out our tupperware cabinet! They thought it was great fun to pull all the bowls and lids out and throw them all over the floor! Once they were done, I thought it was time to go through all those lids and bowls and down-size. So, thanks to my wonderful helpers we have a cabinet that is only half full and all the bowls have lids!http://s132.photobucket.com/albums/q5/BethWG/October%202008/Helping%20Hands/
Ok, so we were having issues with our camera, sent it off to get fixed and got it back in time for Halloween! But I forgot to put the memory card back in, and we only had room for a few pictures. I guess the settings on the camera were changed as well, so the pictures are really big and when I try to post them to the blog it cuts off half of them. So, instead of spending time trying to fix them, I'm posting a link to the photo album they are in. There aren't very many, but I hope you enjoy them anyway!http://s132.photobucket.com/albums/q5/BethWG/October%202008/Halloween%202008/Below is a link to some pictures taken at Zoo Boo. We went with our friends, The Cranfords (Maddie, Aidan & Baby Caleb) and The Lobaughs (Jeffrey & Jake). Thank goodness we have friends that don't forget their cameras, so that we have some cute pictures to share! Thanks again Jeremy!http://picasaweb.google.com/jeremylobaugh/ZooBoo_102008?authkey=eCNw0RM0YBI#

Today Rylan was taking a nap unusually early and Aubrey told me that she wanted to play with the "messy stuff". I asked her what messy stuff and she said, "the stuff that's in the bathroom." I showed her the can of shaving cream and asked her if that was it and she said, "yes, I want to rub it all over!" So, I put her at the table, squirted some on her hands and she went to town. She wrote her letters, drew some shapes and then did some abstract art and said it was a jungle! Of course, if you know Aubrey even a little bit, you know any kind of mess is going to end up all over her! So, she pretended she was Santa Claus, then just a man with a beard and mustache(or hairy lip as Mama Nise taught her)!!!
