Big Sister

Aubrey learned she is going to be a big sister! She's having to think about it a little bit, she's not quite sure what this means for her little world! :)

But she is excited about her new shirt that she has gotten to wear a lot lately!

We are very excited about our new addition, although we will have to wait a while before we get to meet the little one. Our due date is July 27th. My family is going to be increasing even more that month, since Deanna is also due in July! Our families are so excited!

Dress Up

Aubrey has a love for shoes! She woke up this morning and immediately went to her snow boots (which she hasn't worn for 3 weeks) and wanted Curtis to put them on her. So she wore them with her pajamas all morning!

This day she found one of Curtis' ties and put it on with her pajamas and a pumpkin necklace that she made. She wore this to take daddy to school and she was so proud of herself!:)

She loves to put on hats and gloves to, she usually ends up singing once she gets them on! She puts on quite a show and love entertaining!

Circus

Aubrey and I got to go to the circus a couple of weeks ago with some of our friends. We got there early enough to "go backstage."
Aubrey got to see the elephants up close - she was in awe!

She also loved watching the horses do their tricks with their trainer. They were beautiful and very impressive.

Aubrey wants to be a clown when she grows up! :) She loved putting this nose on and just laughing.
We had lots of fun!

Snow Day

We had our first big snow this week, it started on Thursday morning and didn't really stop until Friday night. I haven't heard a total, but it was probably about 6-8 inches. We had quite a bit in the backyard, enough to play in! So we bundled Aubrey up in her snowsuit and snowboots and had fun.

She had fun making snowballs and getting buried by Daddy.

And she made her first snowangel - isn't it cute! It took her a little while to figure out how to walk in it, but she enjoyed playing it!

Another day in the life of Aubrey

Aubrey got to play with another friend today, Emily. Emily and her mommy are in our playgroup and Emily is going to be a big sister in April. They enjoy playing together and making each other laugh and giggle. Today, they chased each other around the living room and laughed so hard they both fell down! It was so cute and fun to watch.

The girls play very well together and enjoy sharing with each other pretty well considering their age.

Aubrey has figured out that she can play peek-a-boo with our curtains and will hide behind them and giggle until I say "Where's Aubrey!"

Then she will pop out of the curtains and laugh.

Happy Halloween

We got to go trick or treating with some friends of ours from church. They have 4 kids, one just turned 2 and is friends with Aubrey. They play together and love going to Bible class together. Aubrey enjoyed walking with Sarah around the neighborhood.

Aubrey and Daddy had fun trick or treating. She got lots of good candy and has enjoyed eating some of it and trying new kinds. She has discovered candy corn and just loves it. We have to hide it from her so she doesn't eat it all at once.

All caught up

Ok, I'm all caught up now with our pictures! I hope you enjoy the several posts I have created the last couple of days! We stay very busy and want to share as much of our lives with you as we can.

Curtis is doing well in school - he's looking forward to Thanksgiving Break next month to have a few days off from studying. We are looking forward to spending time with him during his break. Since we will not be able to head south for Thanksgiving we are planning a big dinner with several student families that will be here as well. We're excited about being able to spend the holiday with friends that have become a second family to us while we are so far away from ours!

I just began the 4th class towards my MBA this week and will be looking forward to my break from class over the Christmas break.

As you can tell from the posts that follow, Aubrey is growing so fast and learning so much. She can make lots of animals sounds (dog, cat, snake, bird, owl, duck, goose, cow, mouse) and she's learning more all the time. She also enjoys showing you her different body parts (eyes, nose, mouth, tongue, ears, tummy, knees, toes, elbows, head). It's hard to believe that she is already 16 1/2 months old - boy the time sure flies. We are having a blast and I am so blessed to be able to stay home (well, we're not really home that much) with her, being able to spend so much time with her has been awesome and I enjoy being able to watch her try and learn new things. She always has so much fun when we get together with our playgroup, she loves being with her friends and is so sweet with them.

Well, I guess that's about it for now - enjoy the pictures and hopefully it won't be so long next time!

ZooBoo

We got to go to the annual ZooBoo at the Erie Zoo this year. We went with our friends Dan, Melaura, and Madison. The kids get dressed up in their costumes and they get to go "trick or treating" in the zoo at different booths that are set up. The animals were quite active to, it was fun to see them play and entertain the kids!

Aubrey and Daddy had fun spending time together to!

Port Farms Take 2

We got to go to Port Farms Pumpkin Farm again before it closes for winter. It was quite a bit colder than the last time - but we still had fun. Aubrey enjoyed playing in the corn box!

This time we got to go on a hay ride that the kids got to pick their own pumpkin. Aubrey chose this one and enjoyed carrying it around - but she thought it was a ball so she would try to throw it!

Halloween Parties

We've already had a couple of Halloween parties and the kids just look so cute all dressed up. Aubrey is a dalmation puppy this year and she has fun "barking"! At a party we went to last night, we had Yoda, a turtle, a ladybug and a puppy. They were all so proud of their costumes!

Aubrey enjoyed coloring her pumpkin at the party to - she got a little on her as well!

At story time on Wednesday they had a Halloween party for the kids. At this one, there was a pig, a bumble bee, a clown and a puppy dog.

Chuck E Cheese

We got to go to Chuck E Cheese last week with our friends. Aubrey had so much fun. She got to meet Chuck E and boogy with him - then she gave him high five.

Aubrey enjoyed driving Stuart Little around!
Aubrey and Aunt Cindy were in a motorcycle race - it was very intense.
Aubrey loves sliding down slides and she had fun hanging out with Bob the Builder to!

The girls are looking forward to their school bus days - but us mommies aren't ready for that!

Silly Aubrey

Aubrey enjoys putting on a show and entertaining - she was playing with Aunt Cindy and making noises while on the webcam with Pop Pop and Mama Nise!

The puppies also like to cuddle with her when she is watching her shows - that's when she is still and doesn't try to chase them!

Here she is being a typical girl - talking on the phone while carrying her seasonal (Halloween) "purse"!
